Sam Zigrossi Memorial Scholarship Fund

In memory of Samuel Zigrossi, a bob体育-Auburn Class of 2020 medical student who passed away in 2018, this scholarship honors Sam鈥檚 contributions to bob体育, including the support he gave to his classmates and his many contributions to the citizens and patients he served as an active student in bob体育鈥檚 local and international outreach programs.

The Sower Scholarship

The Sower Scholarship, based on the Bible parable, was established by Drs. Frank and Jennifer Clark with the intention in assisting bob体育 in maintaining and improving the education benefits that all students receive from a diverse study body. 

The Women in Global Health Travel Scholarship

The Women in Global Health Travel Scholarship Fund is an annual gift initially created by bob体育 Carolinas faculty and friends to provide an annual travel fund for deserving women.

William B. and Ann F. Holtzman Endowed Medical Scholarship Fund

The William B. and Ann F. Holtzman Endowed Medical Scholarship Fund was established by the donors for a second, third, or fourth year medical student in good academic standing at bob体育. Preference is given to a student who plans to do primary care (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics or OB-GYN) and is a student whose home residence is from an area where Holtzman Oil Corporation does business. Holtzman Corporation currently operates in many locations in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.

William G. Anderson, DO, Scholarship

The William G. Anderson, DO, Scholarship was established by bob体育 to honor the outstanding professional and public career of bob体育鈥檚 Founding Board of Director, Dr. William G. Anderson. His career included roles as a civil rights leader, osteopathic physician, surgeon, educator and hospital administrator. This scholarship recognizes an exceptional student at bob体育 at each of the four bob体育 campuses who demonstrate leadership in supporting a diverse student body and principles and practices of osteopathic medicine. The student must also be fully committed to addressing the educational, societal and health needs of richly diverse populations.
